BatmanArkhamCity-Riddler2[1]

Looking to improve on our hitty-missy form, we head into February with our latest batch of recruits from the January Transfer Window. This month, par West Bromwich; we’re up against teams that are struggling towards the foot of the table. It should be easy right? Nothing comes easy when you’re the manager of Sunderland AFC.

Saturday 7th February 2015: Barclays Premier League

Swansea City 2 Sunderland 1

Mannone/ van Aanholt/ Ayham/ Coates/ Byram (Bellerin)/ Wickham (Buckley)/ Cattermole/ Huddlestone/ Johnson/ Borini (Lingard)/ Fletcher

Goals: Johnson 57’ Bony 80’ Montero 88’

Red Card: Huddlestone 75’

MOTM: Montero (Swansea City)

Not the debut Tommy was looking for but the sending off did turn the tide of the match in Swansea’s favour. The numbers game was up against us and unfortunately for us, it paid off for the Swans with two goals in the finally ten minutes. We’ll learn from this and then move on.

Wednesday 11th February 2015: Barclays Premier League

Sunderland 2 Queens Park Rangers 0

Goals: Coman 51’ Fletcher 55’

MOTM: Johnson (Sunderland)

Back to winning ways, we left it late. I guess we were too cautious after what happened at Swansea but it’s still a result that keeps us in the top half of the table.

Goals: Borini 79’ Arfield 58’ Ings 88’

MOTM: Kightly (Burnley)

Oh flipping hell, Burnley have done the double over us. BURNLEY!!!! It’s a good result for them don’t get me wrong, but it’s not as if they were better than us in the two games. We just got lazy and they took advantage of it. Good luck to them. They deserve to stay up.

Saturday 21st February 2015: Barclays Premier League

I give up!

Player of the Month: No one.

Yeah that’s right. No one impressed me so I’ve decided against picking someone for the player of the month award.

I was so angry with all this that I forgot to take a photo of the league table which is all well and good because we’ve slipped right down the table (10th if I can recall). Up next it’s the most important
